I have lived in southwest Florida since 1986 and have seen a lot of changes. The Florida lifestyle is like no other with its fine dining, boating, entertainment, and other attractions, but the thing I like the most is the landscaping from the huge royal palms along McGregor to the beautiful tropical gardens in Naples. My father started a lawn maintenance company in Naples in the late 80’s which is where I first started lawn care. I liked to be outside and meeting with customers.
When my wife and I started AGM Landscaping, we wanted to inform customers of the benefits of having native trees and plants. We strive for customer satisfaction. Many customers are impressed with the fact that even if Sunday is the only day you are available, we'll take that time to service you on a Sunday. Maritza McDavitt
Maritza comes form an Agricultual family business operating since 1939 in Puerto Rico. She remember's working in the garden with her Abuela (grandmother) and learning native names of plants and painting pottery. Where summers were long and the Island Tropical look is always there. She moved to Southwest Florida in the late 80's after graduating from high school and moving back from college.
Maritza was working in the medical field. She realized that her favorate hobby that her Abuela taught her was what she wanted to do with her life. Maritza started to see the harm that traditional lawns were causing the environment, and started her own landscaping business with Kevin, using tropical and native plants. Maritza took her commitment one step further talking and educating all people she came in contact with. Maritza is very active in our community. She is a strong believer in the benefits of native plants, and hopes to demonstrate that through her work.
